Introduction:
The webinar on “Matching Seeds & Needs of Innovation through Functional Analysis” was organized for all the faculties & students of all department of SEC, Sasaram and other Engineering colleges of Bihar. The main objective of the webinar was to introduce the concepts of need and seed innovation. Functional analysis and how it can be used to match them to develop sustainable innovation. Innovation can be inspired by anything mundane or momentous, from a long standing customer need to a cut throat technological advancement (seed). True innovation lies in bringing the ideas to fruitful application, market adoption and usage. Functional analysis is a systematic process of innovation that involves deconstruction of a technology to its core functions & value offerings.

5) Different approaches for innovation.
6) Discuss the concept of Seed driven and Needs driven approaches.
7) What are the different phases in both the approaches of innovation?
8) What is the concept of Function and Functional analysis?
9) What is First principle thinking?
10) How to developed critical thinking and its importance for an engineer.
11) Participants can submit a short summary of their idea at Platinno. Platinno will help
participants to connect with right people including industry experts to mentor the project.
